Construction Electrical Lead
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Electrical Lead to oversee electrical projects and coordinate a team of electricians on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. This role involves managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing technical expertise to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of electricians, providing direction and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Plan and execute electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to coordinate project activities and resolve issues.
- Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices, promoting a culture of safety and professional development.
- Manage inventory and procurement of materials and tools required for projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, materials used, and any changes to project scope.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or an associate degree in electrical technology is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, with a focus on leadership or supervisory roles.
- Valid electrician's license and certification in accordance with state/local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project demands.
- Proficient in using electrical tools and equipment, as well as relevant software for project management.
