Project Manager, Large Industrial
Our client is a leading provider of innovative industrial solutions, dedicated to delivering high-quality projects that meet clients' needs. They are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Build Project Manager to oversee and manage large-scale industrial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, construction processes, and industrial facility operations. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors, to ensure successful project execution.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to keep them informed of project progress and address any concerns.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets industry standards and complies with safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures, prepare financial reports, and implement cost-saving measures as needed.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve project issues, delays, and obstacles to keep projects on track.
- Site Management: Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and timelines.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in industrial construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
