Accounting Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with month-end reporting. This position requires accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with account reconciliations.
- Prepare and issue invoices, purchase orders, and payment receipts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- File and organize financial documents in accordance with company policies.
- Respond to vendor and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- 1 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
