INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION APPLICATIONS ENGINEER
Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Applications Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing automated solutions for our clients in the industrial manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in automation and controls systems, as well as excellent communication skills to work with clients and project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement automated systems for industrial manufacturing clients
- Work with clients to understand their needs and specifications for automated systems
- Develop system architecture and design for automated solutions
- Program, configure and test automation software and control systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automation systems and provide technical support to clients
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met
- Provide training to clients and project teams on the use and maintenance of automated systems
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in industrial automation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems
- Proficient in programming languages such as PLC, HMI, SCADA and robotics systems
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation technologies, including motion control, vision systems and robotics
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and project teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
