Civil Construction Surveyor

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Construction Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing accurate measurements, and providing essential data to support civil construction projects. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure projects are executed with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries, elevations, and dimensions.
• Utilize surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and levels, to gather accurate data.
• Prepare and maintain detailed survey drawings, reports, and documentation.
• Collaborate with project engineers and managers to ensure survey data aligns with project specifications.
• Assist in the layout and staking of construction sites, ensuring adherence to design plans.
• Perform topographic surveys and prepare site plans for construction projects.
• Analyze survey data to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to surveying and construction.
• Provide support during construction by verifying the accuracy of work completed against survey data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil construction surveying.
• Proficient in the use of surveying instruments and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Strong understanding of land surveying principles and construction practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and navigate challenging terrain.
