COMPLIANCE ANALYST – AFFORDABLE HOUSING (LIHTC)

What is needed in this role:

College Degree Preferred
3+ years of relevant experience in property management
Experience with HUD Section 8, LIHTC, Section 42 and/or other affordable housing programs preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills.

Other responsibilities (Overview):

Monitoring and implementing changes in HUD and LITHC regulations and requirements
Maintaining proper maintenance of tenant files and computer records to ensure accuracy according to HUD and LIHTC regulations
Determining financial eligibility for all new admissions into the affordable program
Processing new applicants
Monitoring of waitlists, and EIV master binders for compliance with federal regulations and requirements
Assist and review all 8823’s corrections and correspondence
Monitoring of re-certification notification letters in compliance with HUD and LIHTC regulations
Perform training programs to educate and inform the site teams of requirements and responsibilities
Remain familiar with HUD’s changing Federal Regulations as they relate to Affordable Housing programs
Interview and process applications for new move-ins and lease-ups according to affordable program guidelines
Process certifications (including initial, interim, and annual); calculate retroactive rent while conforming to all applicable guidelines
Support site and office operations as assigned by manager
