Senior Project Manager - Multi-Family Construction

Our client is a premier construction firm specializing in multi-family residential projects. Their portfolio includes luxury apartments, condominiums, and mixed-use developments. They are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee their multi-family construction projects. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multi-family construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Oversee all aspects of construction, including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Lead project meetings and facilitate communication among project team members.
• Ensure timely and accurate project closeout, including punch lists and final inspections.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on multi-family residential construction.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale multi-family projects.
• Self-starter
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Owners, design professionals, property staff, subcontractors, and tradesman.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to provide estimates for projects as needed.
• Ability to interpret and understand architectural and engineering drawings.
