Credit Analyst

Our client is hiring a full-time Credit Analyst in Carmel, IN, to support the lending and credit team in the management of a portfolio of real estate projects, including land development and apartment community developments. This role involves analyzing financial data, assessing loan risk, and providing recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in facilitating and initiating the credit granting function on new and existing customers to achieve company performance objectives and goals.
• Review applications, evaluate credit and financial data, analyze risk factors, and other relevant documents to determine eligibility for loans.
• Perform extensive investigation and analysis of credit and/or financial information, working within established guidelines.
• Provide credit analysis feedback and recommendations to the lending team.
• Support Credit Management with daily, weekly, and/or monthly administrative functions.
• Collaborate with other functional areas to maintain productivity and ensure department and company objectives are met.
• Assist with the initiation of cash disbursements.
• Assist with file management, ensuring all loan files are complete and in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all loan applications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
• 1 to 3 years of experience preferred, not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to take initiative and demonstrate strong time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
