Custom Cabinet Estimator

Our client is a leading provider of custom cabinetry solutions, dedicated to delivering high-quality products tailored to clients' unique needs. They are currently seeking an experienced Custom Cabinet Estimator to join their team and help continue to provide exceptional service.

Job Summary: The Custom Cabinet Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for custom cabinet projects based on client specifications, drawings, and industry standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and extensive knowledge of cabinetry materials and construction methods. The ideal candidate will have a background in cabinetry or woodworking and a passion for delivering precise and competitive estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate Preparation: Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates for custom cabinet projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Material Sourcing: Identify and source materials needed for projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and provide input on design feasibility and cost implications.
• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to clarify project details and provide timely responses to inquiries regarding estimates and project scope.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to ensure estimates are competitive and reflect current market conditions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project changes, ensuring all documentation is up to date and accessible.
• Quality Assurance: Review final estimates for accuracy and completeness, ensuring they align with company standards and client expectations.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and technologies to improve estimating processes and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in estimating custom cabinetry or related construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of cabinetry materials, construction methods, and design principles.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
