Field Service Manager

Our client is a leading Manufacturing company dedicated to providing top-notch service and support to their clients. They are looking for a dynamic Field Service Manager to join their team and lead the field service operations.

The Field Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the field service operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining efficient and effective service delivery. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing field service technicians, and developing strategies to improve service processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field service technicians to ensure high performance and professional growth.
    • Develop and implement training programs for new and existing technicians.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Service Operations:
    • Oversee daily field service operations, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
    • Coordinate and schedule service calls, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance service quality.
  • Customer Relations:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Handle escalated customer issues and complaints, providing effective and timely resolutions.
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide technical support and guidance to field service technicians as needed.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure the team is knowledgeable and well-equipped.
    • Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to address technical challenges.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Monitor and manage the field service budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on service metrics, performance, and customer feedback.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.


  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in field service management or a similar role.
    • Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Proficient in using field service management software and other relevant tools.
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver s license and willingness to travel as required.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if necessary.
