JOB DESCRIPTION – FIRE SPRINKLER FITTER (EXPERIENCED)
Our client is seeking a few Fire Sprinkler Fitters. A sprinkler fitter is responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing sprinkler systems. Your duties will typically include installing plumbing fixtures, fixing and replacing defective and outdated sprinklers, and soldering and welding pipes, tubes, and fittings designed for sprinklers.

Our client is seeking a few Fire Sprinkler Fitters. A sprinkler fitter is responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing sprinkler systems. Your duties will typically include installing plumbing fixtures, fixing and replacing defective and outdated sprinklers, and soldering and welding pipes, tubes, and fittings designed for sprinklers.
What is needed in this role:
- Knowledge of all NFPA codes and standards
- Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and new technologies
- Maintain compliance with all company and state/federal safety standards, regulations, and procedures
- Perform work in an efficient and organized manner
- Communicate in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
- Display professional appearance and act as company representative
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Other responsibilities (Overview):
- Installing sprinkler systems in new buildings, or retrofitting existing buildings with new sprinkler systems
- Ensuring that all plumbing and electrical work is completed prior to installing fire sprinkler systems
- Installing valves, gauges, and other equipment to monitor water flow in pipes
- Installing fire sprinkler systems in residential and commercial buildings to prevent fires from spreading
- Installing fire sprinkler systems in tunnels, underground parking structures, warehouses, factories, and other structures where fire could spread rapidly
- Installing, repairing, or replacing pipes and valves that carry water to fire sprinklers
- Identifying problems with existing fire sprinkler systems and repairing them
- Installing equipment such as pipes, valves, and wiring that are used in fire protection systems
- Repairing or replacing damaged or faulty fire sprinkler systems
