Irrigation Leader

The Irrigation Crew Lead manages a team of irrigation technicians, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard and perform routine maintenance checks for current irrigation and landscape lighting clientele. Systems will include multi-wire and 2-wire systems.

• Leading the team: Supervising crew members, delegating tasks, and confirming completion. Assist with installation of control panels, rain sensors, valves & nozzles, program control panel, verify operation of overall irrigation system. Support crew by contributing to constant attention to detail, cleanliness of job sites, and preventive maintenance of all equipment.
• Managing schedules: Coordinating daily tasks and schedules for the crew. Monitor all tools, equipment and machinery for needed maintenance.
• Ensuring Safety: Maintaining high standards of safety on job sites. Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times. Ensure all crew members utilize all required PPE. Ensures that all equipment usage and maintenance procedures are followed.
• Communicating: Communicating effectively with team members and clients.
• Managing equipment: Loading trucks and trailers with necessary equipment and parts. Monitor and test new installations. Perform physical field and yard work; loading and unload vehicles at pickup and delivery.
• Providing customer service: Interacting with the customer and proactively assisting in achieving resolution. Strives to improve job skills and develop the potential for upward mobility. High attention to detail.
• Proving feedback: Proving performance feedback to crew members.

Requirements:

• Driver s License
• 3 years of experience in Irrigation & Landscaping preferred
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work individually as we as part of a team
• Preference given to candidates with experience
• Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)
• Backflow certification preferred
• Irrigation Tech certification preferred
