Landscape Architect

We are seeking a talented and creative Landscape Architect. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating sustainable and visually appealing landscapes for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and public spaces. As a Landscape Architect, you will work closely with clients, architects, and urban planners to design outdoor environments that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, blending nature with built environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Landscape Design: Develop comprehensive landscape designs for a variety of projects, including parks, gardens, streetscapes, commercial properties, and urban spaces. Ensure designs meet client specifications and environmental requirements.
• Site Planning & Analysis: Conduct site assessments and analysis, including topography, climate, and local ecosystems, to create effective design solutions that enhance the natural environment.
• Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship: Prioritize sustainable practices in design, such as water conservation, plant selection, and the use of environmentally friendly materials to minimize ecological impact.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, urban planners, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate landscape designs into larger projects. Participate in interdisciplinary project teams to ensure the seamless execution of designs.
• Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept through to completion, including managing timelines, budgets, and client expectations. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure the design vision is realized on-site.
• Client Communication: Meet with clients to understand their needs and desires, present design concepts, and make adjustments based on feedback. Provide expert advice on landscape maintenance and long-term sustainability.
• Technical Drawings & Documentation: Prepare detailed design plans, sketches, and CAD drawings. Produce specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents for contractors and consultants.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with local zoning laws, building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Innovative Solutions: Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and materials in landscape architecture to provide innovative, forward-thinking design solutions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field (required).
• Experience: At least 3 5 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a strong portfolio of completed projects that demonstrates creativity and expertise.
• Licensure: Licensed Landscape Architect (preferred) or the ability to obtain licensure within a designated time frame.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and other landscape design tools. Experience with GIS and 3D modeling software is a plus.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of site planning, horticulture, sustainable design practices, and environmental regulations.
• Creative Vision: A keen eye for design and a passion for creating functional yet beautiful outdoor spaces.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients, teams, and stakeholders.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Experience working within budget and time constraints.
• Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of professionals and clients.

Working Conditions:
