Our client is a leading manufacturing company committed to delivering top-notch products to their clients and is expanding their team and seeking a skilled Machine Operator A to contribute to manufacturing success.
Job Summary: As a Machine Operator A, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of designated machinery within the manufacturing facility. Your role will involve setting up machines, monitoring their performance, conducting quality checks, and ensuring production targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup: Prepare and set up machinery for production runs according to established procedures and specifications.
- Operation: Operate assigned machines to produce high-quality products in compliance with company standards.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks on products, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to quality control measures.
- Monitoring: Monitor machine performance during operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal efficiency.
- Documentation: Record production data, machine settings, and any issues encountered during the manufacturing process.
- Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance tasks and report any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to meet daily production goals and address any challenges that may arise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machine operation or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and interpret technical manuals.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality output.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine control.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift/move heavy materials if required.
