Maintenance Technician Packaging
Our client is a leading player in the packing industry, dedicated to providing high-quality packaging solutions. They are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on packing machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
- Conduct repairs and modifications as needed to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Collaborate with production staff to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in the packing or manufacturing industry.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motors, conveyors, and other packing machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
