Manufacturing Engineer
Our client is a leading Manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers. They are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team and contribute to the ongoing success.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing operations meet production goals and adhere to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Analyze production data and implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase yield, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.
- Evaluate and select manufacturing equipment, tools, and technologies to optimize production.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
- Train and support production staff in the use of new processes and equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Prepare and manage project timelines, budgets, and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
