Our client is a leading manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products. They are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join their team.
Job Summary: As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibility will be to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of production equipment. You will work closely with the maintenance team to minimize downtime, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to the overall reliability and performance of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to prioritize and address maintenance needs in a timely manner.
- Install, modify, and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to log work activities, document repairs, and track spare parts inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working with machinery and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
