Pipe Foreman

Our client is seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman to lead and oversee their pipe installation and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipeline construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of pipe installation and maintenance crews.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed, conducting regular safety meetings and training.
• Monitor project progress and report on schedules, delays, and other relevant updates to the Project Manager.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the installation process.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a positive work environment.
• Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure efficient workflow.
• Conduct inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
• Order materials and supplies as needed and manage inventory.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in plumbing or pipefitting preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in pipeline construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of pipe materials, installation techniques, and relevant codes and regulations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver s license and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to [insert weight]).
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
