Pipe Foreman
Our client is seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman to lead and oversee their pipe installation and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipeline construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of pipe installation and maintenance crews.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed, conducting regular safety meetings and training.
- Monitor project progress and report on schedules, delays, and other relevant updates to the Project Manager.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the installation process.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
- Order materials and supplies as needed and manage inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in plumbing or pipefitting preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in pipeline construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of pipe materials, installation techniques, and relevant codes and regulations.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver s license and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to [insert weight]).
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
