Job Description

Process Engineer


Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. The Process Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve production methods, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement new processes, equipment, and systems to enhance production efficiency.
  • Conduct experiments and simulations to validate process designs.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to ensure seamless process integration.
  • Monitor process performance metrics and prepare reports for management.
  • Troubleshoot process-related issues and develop solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in process engineering or a related role.
  • Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, MATLAB, AutoCAD).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
