Project Manager Environmental Remediation
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Project Manager to assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of environmental projects. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to grow within a collaborative and mission-driven team. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior project managers and assist with managing environmental assessments, permitting processes, fieldwork coordination, and client communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing small to mid-sized environmental projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate and schedule field activities, including site assessments, sampling, and data collection
- Support environmental reporting and documentation (e.g., Phase I/II ESAs, NEPA, EIS, EAs, etc.)
- Prepare project timelines, budgets, and progress reports
- Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Assist in proposal development and client presentations
- Perform QA/QC on deliverables under the direction of senior staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources, or a related field
- 1 2 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, project coordination, or fieldwork
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); GIS knowledge a plus
- Willingness to travel for occasional field assignments
- Familiarity with environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, NEPA, CERCLA, RCRA) is a plus
