Psychiatrist (MD/DO) - (IMMEDIATE START - WEEKLY PAY - BENEFITS - LONG TERM CONTRACT POTENTIAL)
Pay: $95.00 - $145.00 per hour ($3,800 - $5,800 Weekly)
619 Recruiting is seeking a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) for an initial contract term of six months (with potential ability to extend) starting immediately. Coverage for the position will be M-F, 8am – 5pm, with one weekend per month on call coverage.
During the weekend on call coverage, you will be expected to arrive on site at least once per weekend day. Call would not be required immediately, but certain flexibility would be expected as well as occasional backup for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners.
The Psychiatrist position will oversee a census of 9-18 patients, on average, and will participate in treatment team meetings. This is an on-site position providing inpatient psychiatric services to persons ages eighteen to sixty-four. Services include diagnosis, medication management, psychological assessment, group therapy, activity therapy, family education and community meetings utilizing the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Model.
You will lead a psychiatric treatment team including, a psychologist, social workers, nursing personnel, an activity therapist, and other staff as relevant. Discharge planning with Individual, family and the Community Services Board begins with admission and culminates with referral back to the community for follow-up treatment based on the individual’s needs.
