Regional Maintenance Manager
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations across multiple facilities within a designated region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all properties are maintained to the highest standards, managing maintenance teams, and implementing effective maintenance strategies. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of maintenance best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Oversight: Manage and oversee maintenance activities for all facilities within the region, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance supervisors and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget for the region, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of service.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment and facilities.
- Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring quality service and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety across all facilities.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of maintenance operations and drive continuous improvement.
- Project Management: Oversee maintenance projects, including renovations, upgrades, and installations, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Emergency Response: Coordinate and manage emergency maintenance situations, providing swift resolution to minimize impact on operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance activities, budget status, and performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintenance management, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-site role.
- Certifications: Certification in Facilities Management (CFM), Maintenance Management Professional (MMP), or equivalent is preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, building systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to inspect facilities, which may require walking, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
