Regional Property Manager - Remote

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing property management company committed to excellence in property management services. With a focus on creating exceptional living experiences for their residents, they manage a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. They are seeking a Regional Property Manager working in a Remote setting to join their team in the Schaumburg, IL area.

Position Overview:

As a Regional Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and financial performance of a designated portfolio of properties within your assigned region. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of properties, fostering strong tenant relationships, maximizing rental income, and maintaining high occupancy rates. This position requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering superior property management services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Property Operations Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, rent collection, and resident relations.
  • Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure efficient and effective property management.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to assess maintenance needs, safety compliance, and overall property condition.
• Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets for each property within the portfolio, ensuring revenue goals are met and expenses are controlled.
  • Analyze financial performance metrics and implement strategies to optimize revenue generation and expense management.
  • Review and approve property expenditures, invoices, and financial reports.
• Tenant Relations and Customer Service:
  • Foster positive relationships with tenants by addressing inquiries, concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Implement resident retention programs and initiatives to enhance tenant satisfaction and minimize turnover.
  • Conduct periodic surveys and feedback sessions to gauge tenant satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
• Team Leadership and Development:
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to property management staff, including property managers, leasing agents, maintenance technicians, and administrative personnel.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, set performance goals, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and excellence within the property management team.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local housing regulations, fair housing laws, and company policies.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate liabilities and ensure the safety and security of residents and employees.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting property management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties.
• Strong knowledge of property management principles, leasing practices, financial analysis, and budget management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, employees, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Industry certifications (e.g., Certified Property Manager, Real Estate License) are a plus.
• Luxury Property Management experience preferred.
