Senior Superintendent - Healthcare Construction
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Superintendent with a strong background in healthcare construction to join their team. The Senior Superintendent will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction of healthcare facilities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage the overall construction process for healthcare facilities, from pre-construction to completion.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute project plans.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.

Healthcare Compliance:
- Stay informed about healthcare regulations, building codes, and industry standards to ensure projects comply with all relevant guidelines.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies and healthcare authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits.

Team Management:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.

Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to meet or exceed project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets high healthcare construction standards.

Budget and Cost Management:
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying and addressing any potential cost overruns.
- Work proactively to find cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges that may arise during construction.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents.

Communication:
- Foster open communication channels among project teams and stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Extensive experience in healthcare construction, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, codes, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in construction management software and tools.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification and other relevant certifications are a plus.
