Staff Accountant
Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their Accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
- Preparing and consolidating financial statements
- Analyzing and reconciling accounts
- Analyzing cash flow
- Creating budgets and forecasts
- Preparing audits
- Managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting
- Working closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support achievement of business goals
- Reviewing and explaining variances to budget/forecast and to previous reporting periods on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA with blend of public/private, Big 4 preferred
- 2+ years of overall general accounting experience
- Advanced Excel experience
- Recognized ERP System experience
- Strong communication, both oral and written
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
- Sharp analytical skills
